cold season
Well, the one good thing about the cold season at least for our household seems to be that the fast pace of life slows down a bit the day to day activities don't seem quite as important to be involved in and we can just relax at home. Today for instance everyone including myself were feeling a bit under the weather so we all snuggled on the couch enjoying each others company...well besides the sniffles and coughing. Anneli who isn't one to stay in one place for long still seems the most active of the bunch. She didn't feel like being snuggly and she was soon off running about. She is often found trying to put on her boots to go outside and play, she is a lively happy little girl who adds a lot of excitement to our family.

silly goose
Anneli is officially walking, she has been attempting to walk for a few weeks but has used crawling as her preference for getting around up until just a few days ago. Her walking has brought a new adventurous side to my sweet little girl. I keep finding her in the funniest spots. We have a sheet up in front of our living room window so it keeps the drafts out. She has found it great fun to place herself in between the sheets where she thinks she's invisible.

Merry Christmas
Well we had another fun and exciting Christmas. This year Anneli joined in on some of the excitement. My sister and brother-in-law came with their little girl Anneke. It was fun having the two cousins together.

Fun in the snow

This is in our front yard a few days ago. We now have over a foot of snow in some places! This picture was taken before Anneli started crying. She doesn't care much to be out in the snow but enjoys staying in by the fire. Every once in awhile I'll hear her say "doooohh" which is her word for the white fluffy stuff outside. It has been blizzard conditions today and none of us feel much like venturing out in it. Looks like we will have a white Christmas!
